Ingrid Nilsen on YouTube did a good lifestyle video about how to tackle hangovers when you have a full day ahead of you. I watched it yesterday because I made some not so responsible choices Wednesday night haha.

I find just drinking water before you go to sleep usually kills a hangover. Once I start feeling pretty drunk, I make a note of trying to drink as much water as possible for passing out

 

I'm so sorry, I have so many emails I haven't even begun to get through them, I hope to hit that all today. What's the name you want it changed to?

 

I truly hate being hungover, I do everything I can to avoid it, but when it does happen I'm dead on the floor for a whole day. But no, today I'm at work, a kid just asked me if i was sick, and now I have to lie to a child so that's where I'm at right now

Jason, if you're reading - I visited Chorus every now and then just to read your blog posts and really never saw this coming.

Congratulations, I see tremendous potential in this and did not think twice to be a part of it. Looking forward to it all.

 

Being really attentive to hydrating during the day when you know you'll be going out drinking that night usually keeps it under control

Yeah, usually I have a 32 oz Nalgene that I keep with me before and during when I'm drinking, but last night I forgot it so I didn't have any water for about 8 hours of peak drunkenness

I usually would drink a gatorade before bed and then force myself to eat toast or something the morning after even when I felt like I couldn't handle food.

 

As a dumb kid I would just use Gatorade as the mixer and kill two birds with one stone haha

 

I am just too old to drink enough to be hungover the next day.

 

I usually keep water and advil by my bed. Gatorade sometimes, but coconut water is where it's at.

 

I have patches, kinda like nicotine patches which slowly release vitamins into your system while you drink. They're the best thing I've ever found for stopping hangovers.

 

Is Gatorade good for hangovers or not? It's full of sugars, so I've never been sure.

This I do when I specifically go out to bars. Last night I went to a show. I was alone at that show for the first band, drink one. Saw another good tasting beer on tap, drink two. Mike Shea offered me another one during the headliner, drink three. The mistake was drink two.

 

I like to have a good meal in me before I go out drinking.

 

What?! I didn't know this was a thing!

It is. The electrolytes help with dehydration.

 

This sounds so useful for like, life in general

 

I'm definitely conscious of what I eat if I think I'll even be having one drink. I make sure I have full meals.

 

Coconut water is nature's Gatorade! Electrolytes without those sugars!!... I think... I donno.

 

I think they give you something like 500% of our recommended vitamin intake, but it balances out because you loose so much when you're drinking.

 

Treated myself to lunch today.
