i quit for like 3 months and then i started again : /

only smoking like 3-4 cigs a day rn though

This thread is beginning to make my sneeze and I'm on prescribed antihystamines

 

That's still insanely good. God it's so hard to break as a habit and from what I've told even after quitting for a while there'll be like just one urge that all of a sudden hooks you back in. I feel like I'm gonna break all the time.

My grandfather quit when he was 25 and he told me recently he still craves a cigarette when he smells one. Tobacco is scary business.

 

The black one is Nero. We kept his shelter name after we adopted him because it seemed to fit his personality quite well. The gray and white one is Anova. Her shelter was Mittens, which we weren't huge fans of. My girlfriend and I met in the same graduate program (quantitative psychology), and being the nerds we are - we wanted to name her after something that was meaningful to both of us. Hence, naming her after a statistical test.

What's your cat's name?

 

This is my old cat his name is Grampa and I promise I got him in like 2009 so I didn't name him after the cat from the show LOVE

 

This is more overwhelming than I thought it would be.

 

Cigarettes are so damn sneaky too. They're so easily accessible and cheap for a fix, but they give you enough in a pack to get you fully hooked again, and then it all adds up an insane amount. It's sneaky as hell and it'll never change because of how profitable it is. It really sucks.

 

I wanna stop going back to AP just to move on but I also wanna enjoy it's last moments. It's like putting your dog down and wanting to pet it for an extra minute.

Only difference is the dog will come back to life in much better health and spirit lol

Mine is Veronica. Named after Veronica Mars. It took my roommates and I like 2 hours to pick a name we all agreed on.

 

Cats are such beautiful creatures, really wish I could get one without altering the cat or myself. I guess allergy shots or whatever aren't a big deal

 

I can't go near a cigarette without being sick. Tobacco and I do not go well together!

 

Oh, are we sharing pets in here? This is my baby boy, Harper; he will be 10 months old tomorrow. Maybe one day I'll be able to get a better shot of his face.

i love cats, have lived with them all my life. after living with my roommate's cats i plan on getting a dog when i move out

I almost got a pair of lizards, I forget what kind, with my ex. We went into the store to look around, but when we found out they lived for like 10+ years, we both retreated very quickly
