The best five dollars I have ever spent on music.

 

This is mostly a conversation for another thread, but I really struggle with kind of being "the nice one" because there are times I'd really love to just yell at people and (especially in cases like these) it would be justified but it's frustrating to know then they get defensive and because I was rude they have a reason not to hear me out. But on the flip side, often times approaching things the way I do just gets ignored and brushed off. I think I achieved a good level of snark in that post though, so we'll see

 

i cannot reply to slade without sarcasm.

 

Those threads are easily one of the best things that happened on AP, we were all SO invested and I loved every second of it

The one thing I'm going to miss from AP is our 30,000+ post wrestling thread.

Oh easily. I rewatched the series last year with my girlfriend who had never seen it and while I still enjoyed it well enough there was something lost by not spending weeks theorizing and making show mixtapes and having serious arguments about being team Jack or Locke, and then making it your avatar. It sounds lame but what a good example of that entire moment/phenomenon captured in time.

I think I kicked off that by asking for NJPW results to not be spoiled in the thread, discussion was fine. Not sure how dirtsheets aren't considered spoilers haha

 

i don't really post that much as I miss like all of raw due to time difference but that seems to be a constant topic every time i open the thread.

Totally get that, I watched 3ish years ago and had the same feeling. I love being able to marathon it, but it was so fun between episodes dissecting everything
