I wouldn't mind the ads if I was listening to a shuffled playlist or radio, but one ad in the middle of an album was all it took to get me to pay for Spotify. I use Apple Music now so I don't really have a choice, but it definitely feels worth the price for ad-free streaming either way.

 

I'm hoping this album becomes that, Lush Life is a really really strong start in my opinion Zara Larsson - New Album (2016) • forum.chorus.fm

 

I couldn't do Spotify free, I listen to albums front to back and that's not available on mobile with the free version. Ads would be acceptable over paying $10 /month if it weren't for that. I literally only listen to music in the car, so desktop playback is irrelevant to me

 

there was a spotify ad here that was basically the worlds most annoying cat meowing over and over again then the spotify lad chiming in saying "don't you want to buy premium now" or something along those lines. awful ad.

 

Good lord, that's obnoxious

 

Every add on Spotify is the worst.

 

My favorite was when Trojan was targeting guys my age a few years back (I mean, know your market, I guess) and my mom was using my Spotify account to check out a new Christian CD she was interested in and right after some worship song my laptop yelled TROJAN MAN! Mom and I both laughed so hard we cried. I think because of that incident, I don't mind the ads too much.

 

I don't know how peeps can use the free spotify plan. I hate ads

 

yeah i've been premium spotify for pretty much as long as it's been available here

 

I DLed Spotify for my dad and my mom calls me complaining almost everyday for showing it to him. He used to just listen to the clips on iTunes because he couldn't pull the trigger and buy the song. She complains that he wears headphones and you can hear him jammin' out and singing through the vents all the way on the other side of the house.

 

Is there a prestigious forum in addition to the supporter forum?

They'll let me in once Casey gets a chance to delete all his posts about me in that forum

 

It is just ridiculous if you're looking for anything. I was just trying to check out the "Tracks" section and just gave up after I could not find it.
