That Gwen album is ok, but I just put on the Carly Rae album again, and man, this is just so damn good. I need more like this. I also hope we get a Betty Who album this year.

 

It's okay I'm cramming in this paper I had a week and a half to write. Yay procrastination!

You ever have that feeling where you're about to go to sleep at night, and you've got plenty of time before morning to get some rest, but you KNOW you're gonna wake up tired as shit the next day?

I don't know what that's like but it sounds awful.

Kidding I'm living it and dying through it.

 

I wake up tired every day. No matter how much I sleep. After about half an hour I start feeling OK.

 

I used to be so good at waking up early. Now I only have like 2-3 days a week where I feel well rested when I'm up. For some reason I knew before even falling asleep that today wasn't one of em.

It's been half an hour though so maybe I'm like you in that regard too haha.

I forgot how awful spo was until we got into a discussion on AP and he of all people called me antagonizing lol

Like lord, can you not see how you're lowering the standards of even the bands you love by relegating them to a "scene" label? Especially when there's no real connection to the "scene" as well

 

I'm having issues waking up on time. I'm going to bed earlier, so I don't get it.

 

Not yet but it's on my list.

 

I had to have that conversation with my brother not to long ago because his use of scene was pissing me off.

 

Like yeah, RFC has some "scene bands" (though what even is the scene these days). But I think you're actively harming some of the other bands that have no relation to that, especially since RFC is moving way out of that direction (argument was about Pinegrove being the best "scene album in a few years, Makthaverskan, crying, The Sun Days, Spencer Radcliffe, etc), you're using it in a demeaning way and that assumption immediately turns some others from checking out the other bands even though there's the lack of connection there. Good music is good music, doesn't need a "scene connotation" diminishing theirs and their peer's accomplishments

I'd rather not have the discussion in the Pinegrove thread. My usage of scene was largely arbitrary and meant no negative connotation. It seems like you put more weight on the word than I do.

I've been having this issue since DST, too. But it's also now allergy season, and mine are so bad, I've kinda just thought it was the beginning reactions of that.

 

I'm on a regiment of sinus rinse, sinus spray, allegra, and an inhaler. lol. It has been cleaning me up quite well.

 

Started taking my zyrtec like a month ago to have it in my system before the allergens really hit. Seems to be doing the job so far.

 

Oh damn. I had an allergy test last year and I asked about getting an inhaler and she told me the only thing that would truly help me would be doing the injections every other day for a year.

This is the one medication I haven't tried. Still haven't found anything that works better for me than benadryl, but then again, it also knocks me right out.

 

I'm in my 7th month of allergy shots (2 shots 3x week) and they have not helped my problems at all really.

 

I did like 7 years of shots, I still get hit ridiculously hard in mid-late April. Always a week after my birthday every year

 

So basically I don't need to do another round of this shit?
