You're not alone! I honestly don't care for Brand New at all. I guess I should probably try listening to them again but I've just never really got into them.

 

I don't dislike Brand New. I like them a regular amount. Like they're not my faves or anything and I thought they were just average live, but in their defense their male fans are annoying af and kinda damper the experience and that wasn't the band's fault

I do think it's cute how passionate their fans are when they're not like trespassing on private property and stuff

 

Wasn't blown away by Brand New live either. But what I love them for is better served for car rides at night/headphone listening, a more isolated experience.

 

I like them alright, haven't really listened to them much and I never really hard them at all until like 2012 or so.

I feel like it's actually a nice contrast to the usual madness haha. I am a fan tho, but I guess a casual one. I listen to them and enjoy them but I won't sacrifice a goat for them.

 

I like that we can have these conversations and be comfortable around each other.

Lord knows that there's some crazy Brand New fans that would looooooove to make a fight out of this.

 

At the end of the day, we're all just trying to fight off our demons

Off topic, but I've always been a pretty middle-road Ke$ha fan musically, and am really really hoping she can come out victorious as much as possible in the current situation. Along with that, I'm super excited for new music from her because...

There's this song "Lover" by her, that was from the past year or so, but has kinda vanished from the internet, I think because it was created outside of Sony/Dr. Luke and probably against her contract. Anyway, I found it a few days ago and if this is the kind of music that she wants to make, I'm excited for her future if this whole mess somehow works out in her favor

 

Anyone listened to the new Gwen Stefani yet?

 

Yeah, it's actually pretty good. A little generic and definitely going towards modern styles but certainly enjoyable.

 

Turning it on right now. Yeah, some of it feels a little lacking and not on the level of my favorites in this genre of the past few years, buy there's some fun stuff here so far. Gonna keep going (on "Truth" now, which I really like).

 

Yeah the Gwen album is fine, nothing really really stuck with me after one listen other than the singles though, we'll see...

 

This "Red Flag" song I could do without.
