Went to Warped in '07 and '08 I think. Glad I saw Katy Perry on there, just so I can say I did.

 

I went in 2010 I think, in Orlando. It was hotter than the sun itself.

 

The one I went to near Jacksonville was in a shipyard which is kind of bizarre, imo.

 

I like Mike's Hard Lemonade too.. the liquor taste isn't all that pronounced to me.

 

i've been to warped too many times and every year i went it was a million degrees, miserably overcrowded, and i always got mega sunburned no matter how much sunscreen i used. @St. Nate you probably lucked out not going tbh. you never get to see all the bands you mean to. better to just see them all in the fall.

 

I went to two Warpeds and I cannot remember which. Def mid 2000s. Gonna have to check lineups and figure out which. Or go through my memory box(es) and try to find the ticket signed by the Moneen members to find out at least one of the years.

 

I remember being very into Still Remains and mad I missed them. I also missed Anberlin but then saw their short acoustic set, so it's all good.

 

I went to 3 or 4? None were that great. One time I lost my phone and a security guy found it and called my dad who called the guy I was with and I got it back. That's my best warped tour story besides almost getting kicked in the face a lot

 

So I was outside today and was in one place for 4 hours so only the right side of my face and my nose got sunburnt but my nose also got it much worse so my face is 3 different colors right now

 

I guess... I also didn't go to as many shows as a kid which is part of why I feel like I've missed out, so I didn't get to see many bands tour during some on some of my favorite album cycles that made up my youth.

Also I don't get sunburn really... I just like to brag about that.

 

Bamboozle 2008 was the longest weekend of my life. I'd rather do one day of Warped Tour than a 3 day hotter than hell Bamboozle ever again.

 

Someone mentioned in here about deciding our own line-ups. I used to do that when I would get bored in class in high school/college. If I got really bored, I'd even do dream set-lists for each of the artists. I'd like, even try to keep bands tiered in level of popularity and whatnot for "Authenticity" even though I never showed it to a single person.

 

If I ever camp out for a festival again, I'll remember to bring earplugs. The person I shared a tent with snored louder than anyone I have ever known. I was even drunk and couldn't sleep through her snoring.

 

I remember coming up with set lists occasionally. Good times.

 

I've lived less than two hours from Bonnaroo for nine years and I've still never gone.

 

I went to two warped tours, one was really rainy, the other was really hot.

Managed to see most of the bands I wanted to when I went. Fests aren't my thing because my legs get all achy after a few hours of standing.

I feel that. I don't think I got into good music until like, 07-08 so I missed the hey day of a lot of the most popular bands (I am a heinous criminal who doesn't like brand new, for example)

@St. Nate I'm very white. It's a miracle I don't get burnt more often. But when I do, the red just fades back to white. I don't get any residual tan.

A favorite "I can't fall asleep" past time of mine.

 

I have to buy a new car which sucks, but my mom offered to let me use her other car until I get a new one, which was nice cause I had to drive 2 hours to her house today and I'm not sure if my car will make it back home. Since she said I could use her car, I agreed to still come and chance the drive so I could take her car back. I was like "Dang, we may not get along and she may make me feel terrible about myself a lot but at least she's there when I need her." Except when I got to her house she was like "lol never mind." Soooo hopefully my car makes it back home!
