We hid beer for Easter egg hunts when I was in college and you had to chug the beer when you found it. It was always a blast.

 

I wanted to see that around Christmas time, but now I'm going to have to wait until after thanksgiving. Even watching Christmas episodes of tv shows feels weird if it's not between Thanksgiving and New Years

 

My new Christmas staple from last year is Krampus for sure

 

My mom wants to get into Japanese wrestling. She's so wonderful.

 

Anything particular that they give?

haha no, my parents prob think I'm still a virgin. Usually it's a card, wine, gift cards to our fave places to eat, itunes card, cash money, candy, scratch offs..that's all can remember right now.

 

I was teasing my wife and her mom because she had santa gifts. Then I went over to my parents that night and my mom handed all of her kids (all adults minus a 16 year old sister) their Santa gifts.

She just gave me this look.

 

My dad got so mad at my mom one year because we were going to Disney World that year so we decided that and anything we bought there (food, souvenirs, etc.) would be Christmas presents but my mom hates having a holiday and us not having anything to open so we had stockings. My dad flipped and was like "WE SAID NO PRESENTS" and my mom yelled "THEY'RE NOT FROM ME THEY'RE FROM SANTA" while my 19 year old self and 27 year old sister watched on in amusement

 

My mom still puts Santa on some of our gifts too lol Parents.

 

Haha...oh! I guess I have a filthy mind lol

 

More like a responsible mind.

 

tbh I forget easter is a holiday. We stopped dyeing eggs when my parents divorced and my mom stopped giving easter baskets when she moved. I was with a coworker at the store and there was a sign that said "We are open on easter" and she was like "Who would want to go to the store on easter???" but easter is just another day so like... I imagine everyone still wants to go to the store

 

Easter always only meant chocolate to me.

 

Easter is like a mini-Christmas for my family. I usually got a movie, a small toy, and a bunch of candy.

Still getting Santa over here too

 

We got puzzles, CD's, and a shitload of candy for Easter.

 

never really realized Easter was something people celebrated

 

I usually got jellybeans which I don't like, and chocolate which I can't really eat, so it's pretty far down on the totem pole as far as fun holidays go

 

I need to buy a suit

 

Kohls has some pretty good deals on some decent stuff.

 

Buying a new spring dress for church was a thing we did for Easter, too.

 

Good looking out. I was tempted to go to Men's Warehouse, but that can get pricey.

 

shit, my only "suit" is a really old, and probably faded+dusty, jacket i have in my closet. one which i've prob had since i was a teenager. i got a few various "fancy" (i use that term very loosely" button up shirts, and a couple passable slacks, but i don't have a Nice Suit.

 

Last wedding I went to, I tried wearing my old suit, but the jacket didn't fit at all.

 

i'll just go with the waistcoat+button up+tie combo minus a jacket

that's how i'm gonna trick future job interviewer's into thinking i'm respectable
