I once matched with somebody and said "Hey! How's it going" and she responded with "Don't you go to my Wawa." I thought that was a kinda weird way to start the convo so I asked which Wawa she was talking about because there are 4-5 Wawas within 5-15 minutes of me and I never got a response back. It was weird.

This is exactly how I feel but couldn't find an eloquent way to say. I also feel really shallow because you're judging someone else basically on a listicle they made of themself.

Yeah it's weird trying to make yourself look as good as possible on paper (screen) for an unseen audience. It feels like you're throwing your resume up on Monster or something. But it's still easier than talking to a stranger in public and hoping they like you

 

I don't have time for a significant other, so I deleted my online dating profiles.

 

I think the hardest relationship I've been in was when I worked day shift and he worked night shift. You're together just long enough for the other to go to work.

 

I have OCD and I hate when people leave dishes in the sink when there is a perfectly good empty dishwasher night next to said sink. I also enjoy long walks on the beach, coffee and cheese burgers. Love, your future ex wife.

 

I work days and my girlfriend works nights. I feel like we make it work pretty well. (though a lot of times her shift starts at 11 pm, so we can get dinner or watch a movie before she leaves)

 

That's really cool. I think it had a lot to do with his shift being 12 hours and mine being 8 hours. I was by myself a lot.
