Things I think can go right to hell: the Japanese giant hornet.

 

The tarantula hawk didn't bother me, but this thing is terrifying.

I read somewhere that the sting is one of the most painful things - up there with bullet ants.

I don't like bees.

I've been conditioned to avoid bees because my mom is allergic. I've never been stung, so I'm pretty worried that I'm allergic too.

 

We have a carpenter bee currently haunting our porch. Sometimes I look out the back door and it's hovering two feet, watching. Waiting.

 

yeah i feel like you and i must have interacted but i also have an awful memory so all i know is SOMEBODY thinks i dont deserve to be the center of attention!!

I was stung by a bee one. Think it was third grade. I was in class and it landed on my head. I had no idea what it was so naturally my hand went up to investigate. Then it was off to the nurse's office.

 

Bees dedicate their entire lives to bothering people. They are the Martin Shkreli of the insect kingdom.

 

i've never been stung either because i flip out when a bee or wasp goes near me.

 

idt i've ever been stung but any time any bug comes anywhere near me i freak out as if i'd been stung so it's just as stressful

 

mosquitoes love me. i hate it

As a pest control technician, I hate bees. I hate wasps too.
