Yup in Texas it's city to city. You can smoke indoors in Richardson too.

 

There's some dive bars in LA that let people smoke in them, definitely not legal but I've certainly seen it

 

Pretty sure you can smoke in bars, but nowhere else.

 

Casinos are the only place in NJ.

 

Yeah casinos in OK as well

 

Having to wait for tables in the non-smoking section was always such a pain

 

In CA at least, bars are still off-limits

 

Florida's the same. As long as they don't serve food, bars can allow smoking if they want to.

 

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Unless you mean complaints about the smoke smell, which it really sucks having to smell that while you're eating. Don't know why anyone would have to smoke right there

 

You'd think. It was usually a longer wait for non-smoking where I was from.

 

I had surgery this AM and my dad has been taking care of me. No painkillers..I'm currently debating whether life is worth living at this point. I'm kidding but man this sucks. They gave me Phenergan before and after so it's kind of kept me knocked out. I'm wide awake now.

In case anyone was wondering, it is indeed not fun having a wasp nest feet from your bedroom window.

Yellow Jackets are the worst. They build their houses on the ground so when you step on one you're fucked. They don't just sting once either they go after you with a vengeance My Girl style.

 

One time I found two ant colonies fighting, so I decided to play God and help one side to victory.

 

Decided to start opening up QOTD threads in different forums daily. Started with the Sports forum. Would love to see what you guys have to say on the topic.

 

Addiction is a life long struggle and it sucks. Opiates are the devil. They literally eat your soul

 

I was becoming an alcoholic so I rarely drink now. I have some pills that make you violently ill if you drink alcohol so whenever I want a drink I take one. I drank some a couple weeks ago when I was in ATL and was like why? I felt like shit all day.

 

The withdrawals are surreal and miserable, and being on opiates can be even worse. It's such a lose-lose and makes me wish I would've had genuine education on it before I fell into it. So much shit that no one tells us, but it makes me wonder if I even would've listened. I dunno. It's extremely tough, stay strong and know you can reach out any time you need to.

 

I wish I had better self control when I drink. That's really tough for me. I try to avoid it as much as I can.

 

That was my main problem. It's not that I drank everyday but I couldn't just have one drink. It always ended with me blacking out.
