Yesterday it broke 85, but today it's only get to the mid-70s. I did yard work for 2.5 hours yesterday, and probably need to do another 4-5 today. It's crazy how much work our yard takes at the beginning of Spring to prep for the first mow/growing season/garden prep. Usually mom and I have to chip away at it over a few weekends, so I guess this is a decent use of time while I'm unemployed.

 

Well I'm late again. Argh

 

Love that place.

 

Is that what we're doing now? We're all giving weather reports? Then okay.

Here in New York City it's currently 52 degrees and sunny. There will be some clouds coming in the afternoon with a chance of rain shower later in the evening.

 

Edit: you could totally be a weather man.

We are having nice adult conversations. It's better than the old "why do you even post" crap we have endured in the past.

I never check the weather unless I need to know if it's gonna rain for a particular event. I just have an extra jacket or something just in case, and then roll with it.

 

89 here today. Winter was nice this year - it was sometime in December.

I was becoming addicted to the oxycodone I was given after my two operations last summer. That shit is no joke.

pickle juice is good for muscle recovery also for shots.

 

Anything above 80 is downright miserable

 

It really isn't, my entire 2011 was oxy/hydro/Xanax/codeine and I am so lucky to still be here after all that. And even after 5 years it (codeine mainly) still plagues my mind in vulnerable times. It's awful.

 

Codeine makes me a miserable human being. I don't even like taking it when I'm sick.

 

i wouldnt touch pills or codeine with a ten foot pole unless i was deathly ill. fuck that noise.

 

I love smoking weed and drinking nice beer, that will always be enough for me.

 

Yeah I'm alcohol/tobacco only now and kinda want to even cut those out tbh

 

I was on medical leave for 7 weeks after my last operation. I was high on oxycodone pretty much the whole time. And then I realized I was getting addicted. Scared the hell out of me. I called my doctor and told her to take me off of it. I now understand why people abuse medications like that. I still sometimes think about it. I honestly loved the way it made me feel.

Is that horrible of me?

 

No, it's totally normal and exactly what is evil about opiates
