tyler (roommate) always orders the weirdest stout he can find. we tried a PBJ stout once but it was not good at all.

 

I used to drink it right from the bottle. I had a thing for it for about a month or two, then I finished a tiny portion of a bottle that was a few months old my friend had (that others drank directly from months prior, I'm assuming). I felt sick for a few days and never went back.

I look back in disgust.

 

Hah I just had a peanut butter stout a few weeks back. I was super into the idea because beer and peanut butter hell yeah but nope didn't work at all. Very disappointing.

 

Yeah it's a great spot to hang out for sure. I like most of their beers but if I'm looking for a bit more variety I'll head to Monday Night Brewing right outside of Atlantic Station. They brew some funky stuff, I love it.

 

I made the mistake of ordering a pitcher of beer with a funny name and when we got the bill the pitcher ended up being like $70. I still can't believe it.

 

Never heard of it but I'll try it out next time I'm up there.

 

Yeah that was garbage. Although the regular Blue Moon is not great either imo

I can relate. My most embarrassing alcohol related story was due to strictly consuming whisky.

 

I gave up on IPAs a while ago. I kept trying them because I know that's what good beer drinkers do, but meh. Life's too short. Drink what I like.

 

IPA has become the standard taste I think of when I think of beer

 

IPAs are definitely not for everyone and I'm not sure how they became this huge standard alternative to light beers

whiskey makes me very confrontational. this is kind of a long story, but the short version is that in the same weekend, my fiance left me and my friend's phone was stolen/the person who stole it posted all of her nudes on facebook. we went out drinking with a group of friends because those are things you drink about. the bartender was so rude to us even though we were being very quiet compared to everyone else in the bar and cut casey and me off after 2 shots... but let casey's boyfriend order 2 more shots and a mixed drink at once. soooo i went up to him on my way to the bathroom, thanked him for telling me when enough is enough because as a woman, i can't tell for myself, and also left a very long note on the back of my receipt. (he totally thought i was serious too, he was like "oh thank you no one ever knows when i'm just looking out for them!)

 

I'm sad I'm allergic to codeine so I'll never experience purple drank or whatever it's called.

 

i guess the real moral of that story is i'm literally exactly the same online as i am in real life.

Idk if any of you guys have ever had a dirty girl scout, but that is by far the most delicious shot I've ever had in my life so far. Tastes just like mint chocolate chip ice cream.

 

Same. I'm also allergic to sulfa and penicillin

 

I can't pop pills either..the party lifestyle just aint for me.

 

one of my faves. this bar near me does a "martini" version of it which is basically just...12 oz of that.

 

I had a pretty big cyst removed from my lower back when I was 16 (which heals from the inside out) and all I could take was Tylennol

 

Now I want to spend money on beer, not supposed to be doing that

 

not surprised that i'm the odd one out but - i can't get into beer at ALL. or wine for that matter. i guess i'm strictly a liquor sort of person
