I've done the Knoxville to DC roundtrip multiple times and then DC to NYC roundtrip once. Literally no issues. Just put in my iPod and zoned out. The one time there was a sell out, managed to run into someone I actually knew by chance so it wasn't even bad in that regard.

omg i just really internalized that ultimately AP is gonna be phased out. holy shit now i'm sad, i just kinda expected it to exist forever encrusted in amber, a testament to my life from the age of 13-20

 

i think a lot of my teenager problematic-ness is housed on my private tumblr and AP so like if at least one of those disappears...i'm okay with that. haha.

 

Part of me will be happy that those old horrible posts, threads and relationships I was in will be gone forever.

However, I will miss the really great times and memories.

i can only hope this means that someday people will only refer to me by my last name and at least one terrible band will put my face on a shirt.

 

I've had a lot of strange emotions about it over the past like 6 months once I knew what I was gonna do. The people here so far have made it so much easier and solidified that I'm making the right choice though.

yeahhh but at the same time the ability to easily look back on all those formative years - i was on a family computer that ran Vista in my family's home in the suburbs of PA, and now I'm on a laptop in my apartment in Philadelphia - there's something nostalgic about it, even down to the, erm, retro website design
