I have a thing with candles/fire. When I was a kid I was afraid of my birthday candles

 

incense messes with my allergies, but some of the scents of that i've smelled in stores has been amazing. i have a basement bedroom at my mom's, but one candle makes the whole thing smell great. i probably could do one a week, but because i bounce between the scents, they last awhile.

 

yeah i need to start buying more than one candle at once, now that i have a job that pays decently i'll prob start buying more at a time. it'll help spread it out and give me more variety. while im liking moonlight a lot, im over halfway done with it and the smell is just so familiar it doesnt excite me anymore

 

may i suggest a tart warmer? because i am a grandma, i bought one w my tax return and you can get all these wax melt thing for like $1 or $2 and have a different scent every week instead of like, a $30 candle commitment.

 

I'm currently bouncing between "Sweater Weather" (it's a eucalyptus fall blend, favorite candle from bbw), "London" (tea and lemon), "Renew & Refresh" (honeydew and some really fresh thing I don't know), Watermelon Lemonade (exactly what you would think), and "Merry Cookie" (baking sugar cookies). I developed a serious issue, and if I don't get a regular job here shortly it'll be tough going (fwp) for awhile, haha.

 

my mom has those all over the house lol my dad actually took one to put in the basement

 

i have a vaporizer thing that vaporizes essential oils that lets off a very nice scent as well

My dad's (I almost typed girlfriend then remembered they got married last week) wife used the warmers. She actually buys candles and cuts the wax out of them to use because she doesn't like most of the warmers.

i have this, but i dont actually want to spray on my pillow, so i just use it as a regular spray. it still works as intended. very soothing lol

@lightning13 I have the eucalyptus spearmint version of that. I spray it on my pillow like three minutes before I get in, and it's awesome. I recommend trying it. It wears off pretty quickly, you can't smell it like twenty minutes later, but it's very relaxing just at first.

 

Not a fan of this band much, but loooovvvvveeee this song.

 

borderlands 2 is a lot fun, cant believe ive never played either of them

 

I played the first Borderlands and was surprised by how much fun it was, although i was a little annoyed by how quickly the scaling up reached an asymptote (maybe my own fault cause i completed all the side quests really rigorously). probably gonna wait for a rig that can actually handle 2 before i dive into that.

 

im playing it on the ps now streaming thing

 

borderlands 2 is amazing. also the main menu theme song (i posted in the video game music thread hehe) is one of my favorites

 

the 1 soundtrack is really solid too. damn, now i'm jonesing to play it again...

Assuming I did my course calculations right, in my final year next year, I'll be taking only 4 courses in my fall and winter terms and then just a single course my final term in the spring.
