yeah it's partly because i get anxious when i feel like i'm wasting time so it's not always fully rational, but sometimes even taking twenty minutes aside to make an omelet or pasta and instead i'll make popcorn.

 

but boiling potatoes has become my comfort food, which is nice because it's a pretty cheap and easy comfort food

Agreed. It's why I love the sous vide. It let's me basically put the meat on earlier in the morning and cook for the day while I don't have to baby sit it and can do other things. That and slow cookers make it way easier.

I've never heard of a sous vide before, but that sounds interesting. Does it basically come out as if you've boiled everything?

I had a really bad experience with some orange flavored liquid so orange is out for me. I'll do lemon lime if it's all there is, fruit punch is fine, there's a melon flavor that's dark green that's really good too. But for the most part, I'm in love with any of the blue Gatorades

 

I wish UF gave us free gatorade considering it was invented here, but nope only athletes because they're treated like royalty.
...Actually, they also give it away in the infirmary but that's it.

Orange is my favorite flavor.

More like just cooked perfectly if you get the time and temp right it's really hard to screw up (which I need). Haha. And no smoke or dealing with any of that (which I also need).

I've used with with everything from steak to vegetables and been really impressed. Put some marinaded flank steak in the morning and by dinner time it's perfect and ready to go. Turn it up and put in some onions and peppers and in 5 minutes I can put those on top.

 

Lemon lime is the best of the "regular" flavors. I liked all of the "Rain" ones too.

This is irrelevant because I haven't had a Gatorade in a long time

 

im lucky to live at home still because my mom and dad are pretty great cooks, my older brother lives at home still too and he's a great cook as well. he got a pasta maker for christmas and has been putting it to good use, home made pasta is great and he's good at making sauces

Gatorade is my stuff. so good. nothing better than a big swig of Gatorade when youre really thirsty on a hot day. wow. i miss the summer.
