My skating abilities peaked at dropping in on a halfpipe. I could never even do a kickflip.

 

I used to skate a bit in early high school. But I got into longboarding last summer (as a means of transportation, no downhill intense stuff). I used to love riding around the dead small town streets with my friends and a backpack full of beer in the middle of the night.

 

Lots of people here like to skate on penny boards and regular skateboards through the city.

I'd like to do that cause it looks really cool, but I don't got the guys to skate through New York traffic.

 

I'm good at snowboarding too, and wakeboarding

 

I mostly skate around the city and trails here now as a way to relax or hang with friends. I wanted to learn a bunch of tricks years ago, but couldn't figure out the basic ones so I just gave up and just rode around lol

 

I tried to skate once or twice but I'm not the most coordinated so I just stayed inside and played Tony Hawk all day

 

so my sisters both have ripstiks and when i'm over there i always used to fuck around on them. well my parents must've thought i really loved them before for my birthday that year, they got me the adult sized one. haha i never ride it.

 

I landed a 360 flip once, that or jumping an 8 set staircase was the height of my skating

 

Anyone remember rollerblades? Eh? Eh? Just me?

I also did bmx biking a little bit too, mostly on dirt trails and ramps


Extreme sports were my thing for a while growing up

 

I spent more time on my ass than anything else the like 3 times I tried rollerblading.

 

I just fell through my bed so you can guess how I'd get on with a skateboard

 

I was all about this movie.

 

Used to play roller hockey like everyday at the park...we actually have a roller hockey rink downtown here and it's ALWAYS packed so rollerblades are still cool in these parts

My mom had a pair just like these. I remember that color specifically.

 

I tried skateboarding once. Around the time I was in middle school, i was just riding outside, hit a crack in the sidewalk and got thrown forward and scraped the front of my face (nose+upper lip had scabs for days) RIGHT before picture day at school.
that basically put and end to that business.

after that, i used to try and learn from my friend after high school (fresh+soph years) but i was never exceptional at it. I still think about learning again but i'm honesty in such terrible shape, haha

 

Brink was the best. I don't want to think about how many times I've seen that movie.

 

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and Underground (1+2) was one of my favorite things in the world tho

 

I can't remember which Tony Hawk game it was, but I remember playing it religiously and losing my shit every time that one Papa Roach song came on...it was like a bonus/hidden track from Infest
