Definitely would prefer more eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. to pancakes, waffles, french toast. If I'm gonna have a bready carb with breakfast, make it biscuits and gravy.

eggs benedict is probably my favorite breakfast. That or huevos rancheros. Blueberry pancakes are right there too.

Anytime I'm having a bad day I can always make it better with breakfast food no matter the time of day lol. Pancakes, french toast or waffles with eggs, bacon, etc. at a diner is like primo comfort food.

I do love a full English/Irish whenever I can get it because I almost always prefer savory to sweet. When I’m in the mood for a sweet breakfast though I’m open to any of the standard carby choices. There’s a pancake place I love that uses dark bittersweet chocolate instead of milk in theirs, and it’s such a great contrast.

There's a reason why the All-Star Special at Waffle House is the best, you get a little of everything: two eggs (sunny side up/over easy), toast (rye, always), hash browns (smothered & covered bb), meat (country ham, always), and a waffle. Perfection.
