I have brutal anxiety at work right now and its like paralyzing me

Every time I see your name I think of the commercials for that show The Good Doctor cuz his name is Shaun Murphy and it offends me cuz their depiction of autism is so unbelievably bad and rude

I semi messed up at work through a dumb communication error with my boss and now we are in a time crunch to upload and SEO and entire sites content and im just questioning myself if im doing it right, but like im doing what I was taught to do, its just stressful. one of those things where I will feel fantastic when I leave the office today, hopefully haha.

 

Idk I guess autism is obviously such a huge spectrum and regardless of what I’ve experienced in people I can’t ever claim to know whether what they depict is accurate in any way. I don’t watch it but yeah

 

It definitely is a large spectrum and I recognize that for sure despite my own experiences, but even still I watched an episode after The Bachelor once (only gods can judge me) and it just felt...very misguided.

 

If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t know that was his name until just now so you’re still the OG in my head.

 

Saying it's a rude depiction is probably harsh because I know that's not the intention, it's just frustrating I guess

 

every time I see ads for that show it reminds me of the shows Kristen Bell was in in Forgetting Sarah Marshall
