Really? That’s funny I’ve never been bothered in ybor. Anyway Clearwater is like their actual home so they don’t rly treat it as recruitment like that, whereas other branches they might. I do know they sometimes have tents or something set up with people passing out info but I’ve never in my life been bothered by someone on the streets lol

Yeah they don’t have like a uniform it’s just a downtown Clearwater thing lol. I think maybe they all are part of the sea org and that’s why they dress that way. But normal members can wear whatever. But I am shocked they were passing stuff out tbh
But they do have a big church in the heart of ybor so I’m not surprised by their presence at all

Whenever my friend and I go to Ybor for either the Orpheum, Crowbar, Ritz, etc, we always park at the garage that like 1 block away from their complex

last time I was there a month ago, I could’ve sworn that they bought another building because their branding looked to be on more things than I remember

Yeah that’s typically where I park too. So I pass by there allll the time over the years and have never been bothered, that’s why it’s so funny to me. But not surprised if they are expanding down there honestly. That’s what they do. Idk how recently you mean but I’m pretty sure they took over the building that used to be the spaghetti warehouse. Which is a bummer cause that place was good.

 

It’s like knowingly being around tr*mp supporters, I don’t want it even if they aren’t actively talking to me. They have a big presence at DragonCon every year and it creates a big stink but nothing ever changes and their booth just grows. Gives me the creeps every time.
