Have you ever watched the uk show utopia? I loved their use of color

It’s supposed to get a US adaption with David fincher directing which I think would translate the visual aspects of it well but afaik it keeps getting pushed back sadly

 

We’ll just have to disagree then. I have zero interest in ever returning to it. It was a genuinely unpleasant experience on every level for me.

really liked utopia too, the use of color is outstanding, everything is so vibrant.

the us version filmed last fall so it's actually happening, fincher's hbo version got scrapped but gillian flynn (who was supposed to write fincher's) was still attached and made it at amazon.

 

I guess maybe it would feel that way if I was in a country with a lot of tourists
