I didn't realize that each episode was independent. I thought each cities' episodes related to one another.

people do that all the time on different services.

 

I think people are just more vocal about cancelling Disney plus

 

people want any opportunity to take a jab at disney as if its a company suffering

 

Nah, not really my thing.

 

I’d argue the Disney Plus thing stems from it being the only big thing Disney has on it right now. It’s goofy though because it’s $7 and other services cost much more

Nope, that’s what’s so different about the show. Each country was filmed on the same set but tells completely disconnected stories. You can watch in any order and there isn’t any crossover, not even a reference to a case from another country or anything.

I thought the second one with the woman who was the building manager was the only episode of France with any real redeeming value. The first was a terrible story that I hated watching and truly did not understand why they wanted to tell in the first place, and the third was full of such played out and questionable tropes that were easy to spot a mile away that it also just left a bad taste in my mouth. I also thought the detectives were the thinnest characters of any version and the story about the one who was on leave or whatever just did not work at all.

Also I listened to the first few songs from A Crow Looked At Me and I just can’t do it. I totally get why it would speak to people but it’s very not for me. I may still read all the lyrics by themselves though.

Agree with your point on Episode 1 for sure, I'm baffled how they thought that was a good idea. At least episode 2 had some emotional payoff in the end. I'm just glad we are kinda feeling the same towards the same episodes haha.
