i think my favorite part of a new years eve party is at 12:01 when it just turns into a regular party and then suddenly its like 430am

Lived in NY my whole life a train ride away and never understood the appeal of it

Stuck in a crowd with nowhere to pee when out drinking in the frigid cold, absolute madness

 

there are people there NOW waiting in one spot, its freezing and raining.

I'd have a panic attack after 20 minutes tops

 

every year people start filtering into times square around late afternoon/evening on the 30th to get the earliest spots before they close the street tomorrow. its IN-SANE.

 

I can’t remember the last time I saw 4:30 AM, staying up all night

 

I've seen it 3x this week

I used to be in bed by 10 I turned gay and stopped sleeping

 

I mean I’ve been up at 4 in the last few months, it was to be at the airport for a flight at 6:45 lol

and I hated every minute of it

 

its the only night of the year i'll stay up that late, and its never on purpose. after midnight most folks start filtering out then by 1am its usually the folks who are crashing for the night, and we start playing games, and then BOOM its 4am and we like ughhh

 

lol I would be able to stay up all night and game

now I’m just like “I’ll get to bed by 11, so I can be up by 8 to go again”

 

We're just going for dinner and probably nothing afterwards lol but i'm off New Years day and Jocelyn doesn't have to work until 2 we should go to snooze in the morning!!!

 

Some drunk guy just came into the store and the store phone was ringing and he picked it up and threw it at an employee it’s truly a mess in this place omg
