Retail is weird

They should have to give as much notice to request you come in on a day off (and you still have the right to say no) as you have to give to take time off

 

I know the feeling. I have been working on a project for a year and a half, but ever since they hired these 2 boomers I basically got pushed out and have been working on billing for 2 months. People leave and they don't replace them, instead push the workload on others it's so fucking annoying

 

Like wtf you have to get managerial approval 2 weeks in advance to take a day off but they can call you that morning and be like "Hey we need someone extra to sell wrenches" hell nah do your job better on schedule arranging

 

My (I guess former) manager at NC is supposed to have the schedule up weeks in advance per state law or company policy and he puts it up days before lol

I can't deal with inconsistency in scheduling and I can't do retail at all for that reason

 

I did somebody’s job for like 6 months during the time it took the replace them, but as a result, I didn’t do any of my work.

 

Worst part is he can't manage shit and yet they're looking to make him a dm lmao

At NC they always keep the dm as the store manager for wherever they were working but then heap that workload on top of them, this dude can't even handle what he does at the store let alone 3-4 stores.

 

I'm SO FUCKING HAPPY I am done working 70 hour weeks my body was starting to really break down

Yesterday I went home from hanging with people at around 5pm and just sat all night in bed watching TV, I haven't done that in almost 3 months and I wanted to relish in it but I was also like wait this is what I had been doing for ~2 years wtf I'm a lazy pos

 

My dad got a call on the 27th asking him to go into work, he was like no sorry I'm in Austria lmao
