Pitchfork covers the most boring metal bands. Like if it's not some one man BM act in the mountains of WA or something, they pay no attention to it.

If you're going to Pitchfork for metal you're looking in the wrong place

 

I find alot of the time they pick the most flavor of the week or new and derivative of each sub genre

they need work on covering heavy music for sure

 

pitchfork covers electronic music pretty well and Im happy about that

 

I still find it weird that they reviewed Ithaca's album. I think the band were just as surprised lol

 

I feel like finding new metal bands is a chore at times.

 

I don’t read any music publication or review ever. I literally don’t care about other people’s opinions. Probably shouldn’t be on a music forum

One man black metal, it's a bit of thing in the genre. So you know how like black metal musicians are these weird, offputting people? Now imagine someone being even more so like that, as in isolating themselves from the world and choosing to live off the grid making lo-fi recordings in their bedroom or whatever.
