Fuck, just went to the gym on a whim after work, first time in a while (ive been just walking before work for exercise) and it felt so GOOD. I think I heard POD - Alive playing as I walked out of the gym, now im just torn between going after work or getting my morning started like this. Think im gonna try the morning tomorrow.

I’m at a ramen place where anime is all over the walls which is always bad. They also have it so where they’ll sit you at a table that seats 4 and then fill the other two so you have to sit next to people you don’t know.

It’s not fun.

Like I have such a huge emotional investment with Nirvana. Was studying them as part of a case study at uni into the adverse effects of fame or something. I ended up sitting in the library at like 3am watching Courtney’s speech about him just crying?? Like idk he seemed really intelligent and talented to me and urgh whatever idk haha. I have those journals of his and they just floor me

The Beatles were part of that study and I found it fascinating how much they hated playing live towards the end. They would play venues and not even be able to hear their instruments the screaming was so loud haha. Like Christ

Yeah exactly! Ian’s stepdad literally goes to McDonald’s or Dunkin’ Donuts almost all day every day with his laptop to ~work~ and it’s like nbd

My ex ex was rly into nirvana and Kurt and so we watched a bunch of documentaries and I became p invested in him as well. We went to Seattle a few years ago and saw the house he died in and the park next to his house is a little memorial area. Also there’s like a secret hole in the hedges that brings you to his fence that people have turned into a memorial

God that sounds brilliant, I visited his LA house and my gf keeps saying she’ll take me to Seattle one day for all that yeah. It’s kinda like a bucket list thing for me. Really important I do it. Nirvana got me into playing guitar and kinda shaped my tastes early on
