One or two of the members of that got busted for taking part in filming and organising group rape, spycams drugging women and attempting to blackmail them and political candidates or something. Was known as the Burning Sun scandal. BigBang? More like big yikes.

They got 7 years in prison - and cried when receiving the verdict. THEY cried.

The fuck indeed. Kpop has serious issues within the industry. For example there’s been a huge rise in suicide due to the ridiculous pressure the companies put on them. And if you’re a woman in them, you’re screwed over completely. Get this - a female idol had to APOLOGISE publicly for attempting to commit suicide after her kpop ex-boyfriend violently tried to blackmail her with a sex tape. Afterwards she commit suicide.

And that’s just one example, I think there were numerous high-profile cases of suicide (especially among women) in the kpop industry last year alone.

I get the popularity and how crazy fans are about them (although I recall how one fan legit stalked an idol by looking at the reflection in her eyeball to discover where she lived) but I don’t think I’ll ever feel comfortable listening to Kpop because of all the horror stories currently coming from the industry.

 

Bad Boy by BigBang is a great song despite the shitty element associated with it

 

It’s always cool to remember how last time I went to Universal Studios they were shooting The Good Place there and now it’s like huh I drove on the tram tour through the location.

 

That whole industry is wild and shitty. It’s a shame because there’s a ton of great bubblegum pop in that but the scene is so toxic. It’s conflicting
