like I’m deff NOT one of those people who thinks college is necessary but I also do think it holds intrinsic value.

the scam is that boomers convinced every millennial to go to college cheapening the degree, but no it should be important but capitalism keeps raising the fucking bar

 

the scam is how expensive it is especially compared to the past and especially compared to how much they want to pay you once you’re done lol
But I fully believe college would benefit nearly everyone. That’s why I believe so strongly in free higher education

Mainly I just have a problem with this meme going around that’s like “oh so you pay $30,000 to learn about a subject from a professor that explains it so badly you had to learn it all on the internet anyway?” And it’s like lmao idk you can tell immediately that it’s only shared by people who have never taken a college course in their life

and obv there’s nothing wrong with that...just maybe don’t go around acting like you know what college courses look like lmao
