Also the only time I saw ADTR it was incredibly unsafe and the band did nothing to help and I was afraid I was about to see a bunch of people die and Richmond end up on national news. They sounded terrible too.

I still to this day can’t get into Anywhere But Here, like at all, so I think a lot of people were like me and bounced off that album, which was their first without Jason, and that created the narrative. But yeah if you listen to the four following records it’s clear that was a fluke and just growing pains adjusting to writing without him.

I get why people felt like he wasn't a competent lead vocalist after ABH that album definitely sounded like it was missing something, but if you can listen to Black Lines and say he's not a great vocalist then idk what to say

 

I saw A Day to Remember at that venue right before they put out FTWHH it was like a 200 cap it was wild
