I finally found the Old Bay Goldfish for a reasonable price on Amazon. can't wait to try them

 

I’ve been shopping at Trader Joe’s again for the first time in ages and in a funny way it feel ridiculously good

 

I also ordered some Lifesavers gummies

 

eggs are coming down in price at aldi. saw them for 2.69/12 the other day

Got Phil’z Coffee today and I seriously still don’t get the hype. Cold brew just tastes like bold water. No flavor at all

 

I've been too hard on Pringles in the past

the cheese ones in particular are fantastic

 

yeah I've never been a cold brew fan

 

we as a species will never know world peace until we can agree that Boston Kreme is the best donut

Cold brew is my favorite type of coffee, so I’m pretty critical when it comes to it. Haha.

Maybe it’s their other drinks that are better. I had a coworker that swore on them, but I just don’t get it…

 

I'm more a hot coffee man

 

Yeah a nice hot cup hits. Love me a pour over

 

got a killer iced coffee recipe worked out recently; y’all are welcome.

200 grams water
19 g coffee coarse / fine
brew hot with v60 or other pour over gadget
aim for 2-3 total brew time
two pours, 0-100g then 100-200g
let cool for a half hour
add like five ice cubes
enjoy!!

 

Iced coffee / cold brew > hot coffee. Even in winter. That being said, I do prefer hot coffee after dinner with desert.

 

i like a good pourover that has cooled down (but is still warm) if the tasting notes are fruity / floral.

 

All of people that I know that love Philz aren’t specialty/third wave coffee people. I’d compare it to a Dutch Bros, a solid regional option that’s a small step above Starbucks and Dunkin’. Not a bad thing, just not the type of shop that I look for.

 

Yeah that’s a good comparison. Funny enough though, I actually genuinely enjoy Dutch Bros nitro cold brew
