Just got a ticket for Chicago N1 from someone unable to go anymore who actually was not selling their ticket for like $200+ which everyone else was so I am stoked!

Some of the drum work hits me as very stonesy in the best way but I couldn’t tell you why ànd as someone who’s never really listened to the stones, I should probably stfu as usual, but here we are

 

We are looking at an AOTY contender here

sounds more stonesy in the vocals and guitars imo but yeah they definitely seem to be an influence

 

Feel like while pretty singular overall, they’re also equally in debt to the stones, Radiohead, and the strokes. Band sounds like a lot of other bands and yet exactly themselves at the same time.

And Cobra is the best song of the year.
