Husbands is still the one for me. The way the music builds in the second verse into the chorus is a sequence that I can’t get enough of at the moment.
I was gonna make a joke about someone needing to add Geese to letterboxd so I can log how many times I watch this George Tavern set, but they are already on there lol
Long Island City. Really the last five songs though—you’re not gonna hear a run better than that very often And especially the last three
Getting Killed through 100 Horses and the last three are unbelievable. All timer 3 song runs and two at once!
I really liked Projector on release and could tell they were gonna be something but I could never have predicted this lol. Unreal.
this album is hard to turn off. i almost wish i didnt start here so i coulda watched them turn into this but at least it was a pretty wild first impression to have with a band lol, absolutely crazy shit front to back
Islands of Men is so good. honestly hear a lot of RHCP influence in this and then Cobra opening feels like something out of Brian Wilson. what a band.
Randomly clicked this thread and then saw they have sold out a place on my town (Scotland) of several hundred and have since announced a date at the 2k venue. Certainly piqued my interest here. Let's have a listen.
Starting to get very into this, but it still doesn’t hit quite as hard as Heavy Metal. It’s obviously great though.
are the other geese albums so heavy metal-coded? I'm loving this record upon first listen but it feels like a beefed-up sequel to cameron's solo record. I maybe don't know what i'm talking about tho
i hear it on a few songs, mostly in the middle of the record, but i’d say it’s the midway point between that and 3D country
