Bobby also shot down vinyl pressings, said that Fearless Records is now owned by a venture capital company (lol the irony of GAD being owned by that) and the guy who pressed the other albums cant even get time of day from them at all
This was one of my favorite records that year. Probably haven't listened in full in about a decade or so.
Last I checked it seemed like there were still copies of Ribbons and Sugar available on vinyl. I gotta jump on that.
I love Kirk but if a reunion without him is the only way to make any type of return happen then so be it. These guys have unfinished business.
I’m actually really into that Strawberry Girls song but “People asking if I hung up the mic No the microphone hung me up gotta get on with my life” makes me sad
If ya'll didn't see on the news page, my label is doing a raffle for test presses of Why We Fight, Ribbons and LOLM. We also have tests from Gates and Matt Pryor. Tickets are $5 and all money goes to www.communitybailfunds.com. www.overduecollection.com
Does anyone have/know where I can stream the handful of songs Keith Ledger (one of Nic's post-Gatsby's bands) released? I forgot about them till today and I remember loving them
Last day to get raffle tickets for the Test Presses, winners announced tomorrow. overduecollection.com
Finally listened to this, wow. Highly recommended. It's a super heavy conversation, but it's amazing. They do a huge deep dive on some Ribbons lyrics. Way more insight from Bobby because the host is a friend. Makes a good companion piece to the liner notes I did on the reissue.
