Cool stuff, I really hope we get more the EP got me doing a discography run, I’ve never been able to get into the self-titled and all these years later I still can’t. It feels like a bunch of demos that were rushed out to fulfil a contract, and it’s the only one of their albums that’s not on their Bandcamp. I’d love to know if there was a story behind it.
i’d love to know as well, I don’t even think they toured behind it? I got into this band after that record had been out for a few months, and I think they are already inactive at the time.
I love the Self Titled. I’ve seen them twice, and I really thought one of them was after self titled? Might be wrong
That was pre self-titled, I believe. That record came out in August '06 and the tour with Portugal, Forgive Durden, and HORSE the Band was in the spring of that year. Not sure if they toured extensively after self-titled. I know they didn't really do a "farewell" tour.
Wild take. Self-titled is right up there with Volcano, if not better. Great songs with a very clear theme running throughout that definitely wasn't just shat out.
Damn, I had to search for the date of the show I saw and you’re right, it was in June of 2006! They did play some stuff from self-titled so my memory melted it together. Don’t mind me, gonna go find an elephant graveyard to lie down in
This is a dream come true, all three songs are incredible. I would love to see them live again, it’s probably too much to ask for a full album and tour, but if it ever happens, I will be there.
I've been digging through their old tours. I saw them with Emery, Gym Class Heroes and As Cities Burn in 2005 for sure (it was on my birthday). I feel like they headlined the other time I saw them but I'm almost positive it wasn't with Portugal. The Man. My memory is fucking bad in a scary way lol
They played the poolhall in my little hometown with Rufio in 2005. Definitely distinctly remember watching both bands. Did not remember it was the same show.
I saw them on the Stampeding Machines tour. Forgive Durden opened, PTM opened - Horse the Band canceled this particular show I believe. It was amazing.
I think the only time I saw them was on this tour at Northern Lights. Drank a FourLoko for the first time before the show started. Amazing time! On the drive home we found out bin Laden was killed
