I don’t listen to either album in full anymore, I just listen to my “best of” playlist...just wish it ‘flowed’ better

THis was Eyes for me during that tour. The quiet bridge with build... then just exploding in the end. So great.

 

you're missing both of their early EP's, I very much still enjoy songs off of those.

 

It's all about Walls

 

Early eps hold a special place in my heart. I'm happy with the sound they've taken on but those early EPs have such strong Pneuma vibes i love it

fuck. had been kind of uneasy seeing him in and out of the hospital in recent months with lung issues. hope this all works out for the best for him

 

Didn't even know he was sick, I hope the absolute best for him, he was so nice when I met him at one of their concerts. Speedy recovery Kevin and kick its ass.

 

Hopefully Kevin will get back on track and kick it totally, absolutely wish him the best, it's got to end well!

 

Relistened to their older EP's today and they still fucking bang.

 

Is this band still alive?

 

Been jamming both of their records a lot the last couple of days, funny to see the thread bumped suddenly. So ready for more Gates

yeah, it seems they do something from time to time, but not as active though, had some battles on the way from what I've seen, and I have my fingers crossed for them, absolutely agree they still have potential in that sound!

 

Absolutely, and it looks like Kevin has been working on his production skills while he’s been sick and recovering, so I think that the new album will be their best sounding yet. Both albums sound stunning and is probably one of my favorite aspects of the band

 

They'll post some rehearsal shots on social media from time to time. They're still alive.

 

I'm listening to the new Narco Debut album rn, which was produced by Kevin. It's a mix of early Coheed + Gates + some other stuff in there as well. Track 3 is/will stay the best song of the year. Save this post so when it comes out you can tell me I was right
