I remember when this came out, wishing it exploded a little more like B&B often did. That pretty quickly turned around though -- songs like Eyes, Left Behind, and Color Worn blow up like crazy, and then you have stuff like the title track that is huge in a totally different way

 

Never got into this.

In the Morning from their EP is still probs my GOAT song tho

 

Captive off their split with Matt Pryor might be their best honestly.

 

I listened to this album this week, maybe even a few times, and I still love it as much! ..nice to hear they're out of Pure Noise, Triple Crown would be a great fit! Only feeling quite ok with getting both of their LPs very cheap, maybe due to the fact they would no longer be on the label.

 

I grabbed the double LP for B&B for like $9 back on Black Friday. I was so stoked on that

 

Wait, are they not on Pure Noise anymore?

 

Oh shit, I completely missed that. I'm all for it. Hope that Triple Crown signs them

 

Still believe that their best album is 50/50 PL and BnB

Hopefully they knock it out of the park of the next one

 

Hopefully there will be a next one soon enough! ;D I remember seeing them mention some resemblances to The Receiving End Of Sirends after the documentaries came out, probably meaning how the sophomore album should be well received, and didn't get them places it really could, and also seeing as the band formula is quite alike.

 

Penny gets a bad rap. Vocal melodies are money all over that song. The lyrics are a little simple yeah but they fit the tone of the song so well

basically Penny is one of those songs I wish I wrote

it really is. Hope their next label gives a shit about them, the songwriting is absolutely there

 

I still think this band hasn't made a full album that's incredible front to back, but they've written some of my favorite songs of all time in their short career.

I really hope the next one is the one where it all clicks into high gear.
