Listened to it now and yeah, this is golden.

 

Big fan of this. Really carries forward that sound from unison and has me hyped for the new album. Hopefully it's not a six-month rollout.

 

So, I miss the bite of the guitars and little extra vocal strain of emotion that comes with that energy of that instrument. This definitely follows Unison. I like the extras with strings and backing chanting and stuff, but the rest of the music feels like it’s a programmed loop (Dave did describe it as such and that it may take a moment for people to get used to). I think upon further listens and learning the lyrics these concerns will diminish, but I do enjoy some drum, guitar distinction in music generally. Glad that a new album is nearing and having two songs in the direction feels like a good thing for me to get used to.

Ricciardo once jumped on stage with Parkway Drive and has now helped Gang of Youths on a song. What can't that man do?

I only know Riccardo through Pardon My Take but he seems like a hilarious dude

 

Kind of reminds me of Polyphonic Spree but in a good way

 

Did they attach a release date to the new album? I’m guessing we’re looking at 2022 now.

 

I think this is one of my favorite songs of the year. Listened to it on repeat all weekend with total serene.
