    it's everything time

the experimental (dance your ass off) NY crew is back with their first album (via 4AD) since 2011's glorious Eye Contact!!

sometimes P4k nails it, and I think this describes them pretty well: "GGD created a sci-fi utopia where music ignored borders and hopscotched genres. Evolving from a psychedelic noise outfit, GGD went on to embrace elements of worldbeat, dub, and hip-hop for a sound that was global, confrontational, and just a bit kitschy."

so there yo go, psychedelic fun for all

they are sooooo sick live too, so catch them if you get the chance

single below and some of my Eye Contact favs too for good measure

I didn't listen to their old stuff, but this is a cool album. Sort of like experimental, less pop sounding Grimes

listened to this on vinyl last night - so much detail and craft

atmosphere is amazing too, and it’s mostly so mellow that it’s almost like an ambient dance record
