Also that's not mentioning the not so subtle multiple hints in the books that the Mad King was infatuated with Johanna Lannister, to the point where he drunkingly joked about raping her at her and Tywin's wedding feast.
Also it would explain some of the actions of Tywin, what (besides making Jaime Kingsguard) destroyed his longtime friendship with King Aerys, why he decided to turn his back on the crown at the end of Robert's Rebellion, why he resented Tyrion so much. Come on, his last words were "You're no son of mine".

  2. Well, the events on the wedding day don't directly prove anything because at that point Jaime and Cersei hadn't been born yet, so they had to come first.

Tyrion could have been conceived during the Anniversary Tournament, which was the last time we know of Aerys and Joanna being in the same location. And then Tyrion was born within the next year.

It would be so disappointing for tyrion and tywins relationship arc if they weren't related

they'd technically still be related, as Tywin & Joanna were cousins.

I don't understand this at all. Even if it's not the same blood relation, he was still raised as his son. Not sure how that would nullify anything about their dynamic.

If George Martin was going to go the route of the Mad King having a bastard with Tywins wife, it'd be a lot more satisfying if Jaime and Cersei were the ones who weren't Twyins children. Leaving Tyrion as his only real son

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

I was rewatching the first episode of season 6 and i stumbled upon a piece of dialogue I found interesting. When the Khal and his blood riders are having a conversation about the 5 greatest experiences A Dothraki could ever have, they mention seeing a beautiful woman naked for the first time, killing another Khal, conquering a city, taking their idols back to your city, and taming a wild horse.

I was thinking when Dany kills all the Khals, and walks out of the temple naked, and wins the loyalty of all the Dothraki that kind of figuratively and literally checks all those boxes. I just thought it was an interesting piece of foreshadowing i didn't pick up on until now.

I love that season 6 has been the most geographically widespread season yet. I think the only regions in Westeros that haven't been a setting this season are the Westerlands and the Stormlands.

This season we've had story arcs taking place in King's Landing, The North, Beyond the Wall, The Riverlands, The Vale, Dorne, The Reach, Iron Islands, Vaes Dothrak, Mereen, Braavos, and a small bit in Volantis. I don't think any other season has focused on that many places.

The only way we're going to see something major happen in The Stormlands again is if they do the Aegon/Jon Connington/Golden Company arc from the books, which it looks like won't happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the first season in which Tyrion wasn't in every episode? Pretty sure we haven't seen him in at least 2.

Tyrion hasn't done shit this season so it's whatever. All of meereen basically.

  18. He was absent from at least 1 episode in Seasons 1, 3, and 4. He has appeared in all 10 episodes of all other seasons, except the current.

wasn't her belly also slashed? Her wounds and recovery certainly doesn't reflect the ass-kicking she was handed.

I think it's good. I have always enjoyed Tyrion, and I think it's intentionally made as awkward as it is to reflect the complete polar opposites they come from and Tyrion trying to relate with them.
