A lot of interesting and insightful comments above. Lots of ways this could go down that would be epic. Drogon dying would be pretty emotional.

And had a fun thought this morning.... Theon should join the unsullied. He fits the requirements in the pants ;)

Really interested in what's going on with the Brotherhood now it's confirmed to be Lem Lemoncloak. I wonder if they're really building to Lady Stoneheart or something entirely different.

I'm really looking forward to seeing that interaction between Tyrion and Daenerys which should be coming soon. It will definitely tell us a lot about Dany and how much of a Dictator she actually is and how open she is to Tyrion's political savvy-ness . Also, Tyrion will absolutely not approve of a Dothraki army invading Westeros and killing and raping millions of innocent people.

Also, I'm very curious if Tyrion unchaining her Dragons comes up and if so, her reaction to his success at doing so, as I think it's quite significant moving forward.

Question: How many White Walkers are there actually? Are there many living in that area where we saw them turn one of Craster's sons into a Walker? Is that how they repopulate? They obviously have hundreds of thousands of Wights in their army, but they have shown to be especially prone to fire.

Just curious if the dragons coming into play could essentially deplete the Walker's entire army, leaving only a handful of actual White Walkers, or if there are legitimately thousands of White Walkers somewhere. We've only seen about 7-10 at this point, right?

i think the most we've seen at once is 13, in brans vision when the nights king turns one of crastors sons into a walker.

and LSH is def coming back this season. i hope it doesn't mean the end to one of my favorite characters like what happened in the books.

my end game prediction relies heavily on the three heads of the dragon theory, and they'd be dany tyrion and jon. i think tyrion's father isn't actually tywin and that's why he hated him so much, maybe he has some dragon blood in him too. and i'm definitely in the R+L=J camp. anyway, i think the three of them defeat the white walkers and they all share the throne.

i fully buy the r+l=j theory, but not that tyrion isn't a lannister and/or has targaryen blood in him

i just like to think that the series isnt cheap enough to do r+l=j and then pull the same "oh he's a secret targaryen too!" for another main character and if im going to believe one of the two ill choose jon's since his seems infinitely more plausible.

Yeah I'd rather Tyrion not be a Targaryen. I'm okay with Jon though.

  14. If Tyrion isn't a Targaryen then there better be a damn good explaination as to why he didn't get turned into an imp-kabob by Rhaegal and Viserion.

Edit.. and if its just because "they weren't eating at the time cause Dany was gone" then I will rage.

well they do talk about how dragons are really smart right before and tyrion seemingly makes them understand that he is not there to hurt them, and him freeing them only seals that relationship. im sure not every dragon just killed everyone who wasn't a targaryen.

  16. This is silly. Dragon's aren't mindless beasts and he was there to unchain them.

The man in Meereen holding the torched bones of his child would probably argue otherwise.

I mean, I'm not saying that it won't end up being something as gimmicky as "dragons are smart, they knew to trust him" but I'll be disappointed.

I'd be more-willing to accept this had Tyrion met the dragons previously, such as with Dany at some point. A first-time encounter going well enough that he gets to touch them? It just doesn't sit well with me.

The Tyrion/Dragon scene is way too deliberate for it to simply be "oh they just trust him"

I've come to learn (through re-watching older episodes) that basically every scene in GOT has some sort of future significance so in my mind there is no chance that scene with Tyrion and the Dragons isn't significant.

While I firmly do not believe Tyrion is a Targaryian , isn't it still very possible that he is the Prince that Was Promised (his mother did die at birth)? And while not of Targaryian Blood, surely the son of fire/warrior of light would be able to control a Dragon. And saying that, Lightbringer doesn't necessarily have to be a sword does it? Couldn't it be Drogon himself? I know it was the first dragon he had ever seen, but maybe there was more to that scene where he stands in awe at Drogon flying over head than we thought.

I've always just thought that the future significance of Tyrion's fascination with dragons was that he would actually see a live dragon eventually, not that he's actually a Targaryen.

I've been convinced of "The Targaryen dragon has three heads, not two" theory for awhile so i'm glad i'm not the only one.

Three Targaryens conquered the 7 Kingdoms originally with three dragons, there are three dragon heads on House Targaryen's sigil, and Dany currently has three dragons. That obviously means something, there can't just be two Targaryens during the series climax.

What really sold me on it was the realization that those three character's mothers all died in childbirth. Come on, you can't tell me the series' three most important characters' mothers dying in the same exact manner is just coincidental.
