It was actually Gendry. He finally stopped rowing so everyone could shut up about him.

There is obviously going to be someone helping Arya in one way or another. If anything, just with her wounds. I'm sold on the fact she was in fact almost killed, and realized "holy shit I don't know what to do", then leads Waif into that darkened room and kills her using her Daredevil type abilities.

  4. Y'all, Arya didn't get stabbed. She's just chillin' in Mexico with Tupac and Elvis.

Aria's true form will emerge from the gash not using this as slang for vagina in this context

  8. They only winter in Cuba. Summers are spent in the cooler, higher altitudes of central Mexico. DUUUUUHHHH.

Robb was great once Oona Chaplin was naked in all his scenes.

My friend who looks a lot like him and even has people shouting "you know nothing" at him in the streets winks the same way. Made me laugh the first time I saw it, ha.

But in all seriousness I never had a problem with him or thought he was boring.

Was talking to quite a GOT and ASOIAF fanatic the other day and he was hell bent that the only satisfying ending for him was the White Walkers killing everybody significant and leaving the world for the few remaining to start/try again. While I've always recognized the similarities between the white walkers and the ongoing and increasingly alarming climate/overpopulation issue, I never really put any thought into the idea of the White Walkers actually succeeding.

The depth of the narrative just wouldn't allow that to happen in my opinion, as I just don't see a way you could work that without all of this backstory coming off as a giant waste of time, but I just found it incredibly interesting that someone who is so invested with these characters would be satisfied with that outcome.

I will never forgive them for the scene in season 2 (3 maybe) where Robb and Talisa are in his tent. He's at a table looking at maps or something and she's chilling on his bed naked. The dialogue goes something like this:

Robb (while gazing longingly at Talisa): "If you keep lying there like that, I'll have to attack you."

    Talisa: "Attack! Attack!"

There were a thousand cringes that day

I had a discussion with my cousin about a year and a half ago and he told me that he believes the series will end with the Night Kind sitting on the Iron Throne, and ever since then, I've believed that it might just happen

well, this is the problem with the entire series. the appeal to the story is that it deviates so far from the norm of fantasy and what we expect of heroic stories. but to craft a satisfying end would probably entail betraying what made it so interesting in the first place. (this is also why the most interesting thing about robb was his death).

Also why the Eldritch Apocalypse theory is so interesting. Almost totally abandon fantasy for cosmic horror.

Yeah but this is the dude that wrote Storm of Swords. Bittersweet to him could be very dark.

I'm sure there are some hardcore Lannister supporters that will be thrilled if one of them winds up on the throne. That would be horrible for most others, so to each their own. Fuck it, put the Night King on the throne and some will be happy.
