This talk of Jorah made me realize we don't really know where he's at... it wouldn't be out of the Game of Thrones wheelhouse if somehow he and Arya ended up in the same place assuming she's surviving (which, I highly doubt she's dying). He'd then have to face the fact she's Ned's daughter.

 

Nah son, he's gonna go to Oldtown for a cure and run into a certain member of the Nights Watch.

 

I think people were saying the show should have then shown a scene of whatever Jorah is up to now, not that Jon would have brought him up in convo or something like that.

 

Though they could have mentioned him too to show the link. I bet at least 50% of the show watchers had no idea who she was. My dad sure had no idea. Too many house names to know who is who for the casual viewer.

 

Are you talking about Lady Mormont? She was brought up by Stannis a little while back, in the show.

 

Yes. I'm a huge fan and I only vaguely remember that. Most people wouldn't have a clue. But also numerous other secondary characters. It's pretty tough to remember everyone's names and relationships to each other. Especially when they are coming and going and missing seasons. I know a lot of people had no fucking clue who Benjen was when he reappeared.

 

He says something like "...Lyanna Mormont...age of 9..." I can't remember the context or what he says before and after.

 

Episodes 9 and 10 titles confirmed.

9 - Battle of the Bastards

10 - Winds of Winter (will be 69 minutes long)

Both directed by the dude who did the Hardhome episode last season, so obviously we can expect some snowy battles.

 

Rewatching the first season is such a joy. Every conversation planted so many seeds for what happens later on. I'm enjoying it like 3 times more than the first go around.

Tyrion and Theons interactions in winterfel have me pretty curious to see how their inevitable mereen reunion goes down.

 

Rewatching the end of season 2 and beginning of season three, we were told that Roose had betrayed Robb like, 10 times.

 

I was wondering about Littlefinger's intentions in the North,and i was also rewatching season 5 and some of the stuff Littlefinger said to Cersei and how he made her think the Boltons betrayed the crown by sheltering Sansa made me think he might be trying to pull a trojan horse to take the North for the Lannisters like Tywin did with King's Landing at the end of Robert's Rebellion to make himself warden of the North and the East.

 

Goddamn there has been more theories in my newsfeed than there has ever been this past week. People literally lose their fucking minds over this show haha

 

I got the sense that he didn't really decide to betray Robb until after Robb and Talisa got married, which I think was one of the last scenes of S2. At that point, my guess is he got a raven from Tywin Lannister and was like YUP SEE YA ROBB.

Ugggh...still makes me sad to think about. Robb was such a good military mind, just had no concept of politics.

 

Robb was such a boring ass character tho.

I truly hope for the simplest outcome, like I expect from this show, so everyone who created a theory about her can feel dumb.
