Back in November of last year, there was a filming spoiler that I think is relevant now. It's not major, but the characters involved are interesting. Sansa, Jon, Little Finger and Ramsay are discussing something at Winterfell. Things get heated between them but broken up by a giant trying to bust through the gates. The people inside Winterfell try to fight it off. There is no way of knowing if this is Wun Wun or not (probably is), but I'm curious if Sansa/Jon attempted to have a meeting with Ramsay and then bum rush the gates unsuspectingly.[\spoiler]
Oh is he really the only one? I wasn't aware of that, and I thought watchersonthewall.com would know that.
Arya wears her little temple buns tighter than the girl she is walking past, this post even shows a comparison when trying to prove the opposite.
This made me laugh way more than it should have... https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.ne...=db47ab5cd3a8f457c166b2046159a927&oe=57D1F107
Regardless of all these Arya theories, we should all be focusing on the fact that Jaqen told the Waif to not let Arya suffer but yet she did. He's probably not very happy about that
No one else thinking that the Arya thing could be something as simple as that since she has been in contact with the acting troupe, that it could be sheep's blood/ guts (something for use on stage) to lure Waif into a false sense of security? Hence the no needle, out in the open, rolling into the river to survive? Stumbling through the market bleeding, making an obvious show that she was "dying"?
I dunno... it would be super risky to allow someone to attack you, not knowing how they were going to do it, and then to fake your injuries from it at the same time. I mean, I still don't know why Waif didn't slit her throat if she had the jump on Arya like that. Stabbing her in the stomach a few times? Weak and ineffective (obvi.) Right after Arya saves theater lady when Waif and Jaqen are talking back at the HoB&W
What about the other theory that the dude in blue following her around is actually Loras' lover Olyvar. Fucking Reddit.
Actually if that's the way those shots were staged, with someone in distinct blue amidst mostly beige and brown, who alters course and follows Arya, that's a deliberate choice that might play into something. Or, if it means nothing, it's a weirdly specific extra. That said, theorizing and speculation are my least favorite parts of nerd properties. The story is the story, I'm into this series because I've been interested in what the authors have to say and how they're saying it, not because it's a puzzle I need to solve before it finishes. Plus most fan theories are based less on thematics or character or narrative than coincidence or Easter eggs.
I just think it's funny that people can theorize about things all fucking day long. I post a lot of theories in here, but I'm getting them from where they originated, and yea some are interesting. I personally think that Arya got stabbed, and that she will go back to Jaqen and ask for help and it will be granted because this was all part of her test. The name of the episode is No One, after all, and the description states that "Arya will face a new test". I wouldn't be surprised if she's tasked with killing Waif.
This is interesting because, as already stated, deliberately choosing to have one random extra completely stand out against every other is strange to do without purpose.
