I mean, two of those you could only assume were dead so I wouldn't get too up in arms about it. You should have known there was a chance they were still alive too, particularly with Benjen.

Seemingly yeah, but I just never saw them including this plot line. I guess it would make sense as they kind of pushed up Brienne and Jaime in the Riverlands, the reintroduction of the Freys, etc. But having another big resurrection the same season as Jon would seem like odd timing, but then again they have been hammering home how strong the lord of light is so maybe that's why the Brotherhood are such zealots now

    yep

Does she? I honestly can't remember. I'm in the camp that was always pulling for him to survive anyway though.

Right, I just was mentioning it because there are still people out there who think he's really alive just because we as the audience didn't see it.

Which lends to the belief that she is a big bold lying faced liar and Stannis is def alive.

When she confronted Davos and the Red Priestess (can't spell her name).

Gonna echo similar thoughts about Arya that her story since coming to Braavos has been nothing short of a disappoinment. It was such an exciting change in the season four finale and we've gotten little to nothing out of it.

She also probably claims to have killed The Hound.

I like the replacing of Victarion with Yara and Theon a lot

Jon is the only person being resurrected this season. Benjen and the Hound were never dead.

But also, this definitely means Lady Stoneheart. I refuse to believe they excluded LS because "why bring her back just for revenge?" when they literally just brought the Hound back into the show for a revenge plot.

I just meant that there were three characters who were presumed dead (or missing for a long ass time). Doing this with a FOURTH character seems like too much, three is already too much.

Benjen and the Hound should not have been presumed dead. I don't get the too much thing. Blackfish, Walder, and Edmure came back too. It's almost as if they are setting up for the show's final run.

As a non book reader, Hound and Benjen may have well just been dead. One of them went north of the wall back in season 1 while the other was brutally beaten and left for dead. Each of those characters coming back counts as a surprise to the general audience.

I know the events of the books but have not read them, so I'm on board with what you'res saying, especially with the Hound and the Septon hinting at him in the books.

I'm down for an LSH reveal. It would explain the tone shift of the Brotherhood and why they're way more into the Lord of Light. Also I really always liked the theory of having LSH+BwB killing all the Freys Red Wedding-style

yeah, did not have good feels during that scene.
it was definitely Arya and not Jaqen. her final scene of walking through the street was to show that she now does not trust literally anybody she comes across. if it was Jaqen, he can probably recognize the faces from the hall and would know who was Faceless and who was not.
I think she may have some tricks up her sleeve from her potions/training montage for healing herself, though.

The only thing I was shocked by about The Hound's reveal was how quickly it happened, same with Benjen. I thought they'd drag both of their reveals out a little bit, but I guess that just shows how quickly (I hope) they're going to move the show along.

Yeah when she's talking to Ser Davos at Castle Black.

    I'm Back.

Both Benjen and The Hound haven't happened yet in the book, so however long it (may) be drawn out in the book didn't matter to the show.

Those two reveals felt like "written for TV" plot points instead of an adaptation of some long, multi-page hinting at certain things before finally coming to fruition...which I'm fine with at this point since we've had some really drawn out story lines that need wrapping up.

Dany is the biggest, mean she spent the entire series talking about how she's coming back to King's Landing and how she's going to do it...but hasn't yet, and has had a couple of failed attempts/false starts. I understand that her going there with the dragons is pretty much game ending, so it has to happen at the end of the story, but man it's just meandering.

Lyanna Mormont was fantastic. Bronn coming back was great. The Hound coming back the way he did pretty much confirms the Clegane bowl won't be happening. How is the seven going to appoint him a champion when the only dude that knows he's alive was just killed? Not enough time for that. Plus, he would've actually just lost.

Unless what we're watching happened in the past. Hence Bran's visions of the man walking in the grassy field over the dead bodies. Then again that vision could have been future events.

Speaking of Bran, he knows his dad and Rob are dead, right? He hasn't even mentioned anything about it.

don't see how it being in the past would matter too much, it would only have been since season four, and I don't think very much time has passed since then, a year tops.

Was the sitting Lord of Winterfell when Ned died, so he definitely knows that.

I think it's less clear on whether or not he knows about the Red Wedding. His visions a few weeks back included Cat and Robb at the Red Wedding, though he didn't say anything about it after waking up.

Yeah, it was almost definitely a vision of future events. Which makes sense considering Three Eyed Raven said Bran will become him and Benjen heavily implied that Bran was now the Three Eyed Raven.

He knew that Ned was dead a long time ago. As far as Robb goes, I don't know.

    I'm Back.

So what about the Wildfire in the vision, that wasn't from Blackwater, so it could be future events.

Also I found it quite heavy handed that Cersei (or maybe Olenna) said it, but the suggestion of killing everyone came up. I thought that was odd considering the Wildfire vision hasn't been seen yet.

If things don't go Cersei's way, it's somewhat obvious that she will say fuck everyone and light off a big green bomb.
