Unbelievable that I actually read someone try to justify the use of a sexist slur because it's used in Game Of Thrones.
Let's just get pack on topic with the mindless speculation folks. Episode 6 is titled "The Broken Man". The titles often have more than one meaning but I would think it's safe to say that it could in part be a reference to The Hound. He's no doubt kind of crippled or "broken" from his fight with Brienne.
I don't think a trial by combat happens. We've already had one with the Mountain, no need to do it again. And no way it's against the Hound, that sounds like fan fiction.
Bronn is in the next episode!!!!! That's not a spoiler it's in the damn preview. Also, not that anyone cares, but where the hell are the Sand snakes....
his hands look cold. if a trial by combat goes down, could The Faith claim Ser Strong as their champion, since he is still a Kingsguard, who technically reports to the king, who is under the influence of the High Sparrow?
We won't see Dorne again until the final episode of the season. He would probably deny their request to champion for them, and instead elect to continue to serve Cersei.
I'm not understanding why people think the hound is still alive? Did I miss something? I'm really hoping he's not. His character arc was pretty much complete. No need to drag him back. Edit: this is another reason I wasn't thrilled with jon coming back. Along with the LS plot, there's never any finality to anything. Everyone that dies is now potentially coming back. Stannis, the hound, hodor, let them stay dead and gone. Except Robb's wife. Bring her back. Or else find her a new show to star in.
When I saw that DStrong was on chorus I knew it would eventually lead to misogynistic/ignorant posting.
There are a few hints in the books when Brienne goes to the Quiet Isle and notices a gravedigger who is bigger than her with a limp and a scarf that covers most of his face. A few other clues/hints too.
Heres a link to the main points of the theory. I don't think it's the most egregious example of bringing a character back, he was only left for dead. Also I don't think they're going to introduce LSH into the show, especially not the same season they brought Jon back, then yeah it would seem excessive.
When the Hound comes back it won't be like Jon. He never died. It will be more like Rickon or Osha who just haven't been shown in a few seasons.
I am just baffled that the belief is that the Hound is dead but no one was sure Jon was dead despite being stabbed seven times in the chest.

I thought Dany's scene at the end is a bit underappreciated. Most great medieval fantasy stories have at least one epic moment where the hero gives a passionate speech to their warriors about overcoming the odds (Like Aragorn's in ROTK), and it felt like that was Dany's. Up until then the only ones close to that I can remember were Tyrion's "Those are brave men knocking at our door. Let's kill them" at Blackwater and Alliser's "Tonight we fight" at the wall. Of all five seasons, those were the iconic morale-boosting speech highlights, so seeing Dany's take on that trope was refreshing and fun.
That would be pretty dramatic, but is that even legal in the laws of the realm? And even if it is possible, is even The High Sparrow persuasive enough to brainwash a 14 year old(?) kid to think he can kill a 7 foot tall zombie mountain? I agree that he might continue to use Tommen against her, though (called it several pages back, just sayin :p ). Maybe even handicapping her ace by preventing her from using The Mountain in a TBC and forcing her to ask Jamie or something (maybe brainwashing Tommen into telling her that the only way for Jamie to redeem himself is to fight in a TBC against the mountain, since the mountain I think is still in the Kingsguard and Jamie would be fighting to not be banished and to prevent the hammer slamming down on Cersei).
You'd note that those two speeches were during the middle of a battle. Dany's was before a week long ride.
