Something fun (read: awful) to think about since both episodes are airing on two separate HBO channels right now: The Red Wedding aired in June 2013, and we got the Purple Wedding April 2014. So didn’t even have to wait a full year to see Joffrey finally get his after having to endure the Red Wedding. imaging in today’s atmosphere getting the Red Wedding then having to wait 2 and a half years to get the next season. Whew,
