I wonder if they’ve considered making a show that isn’t based around a Targaryen. But yeah dragons cool, I get it Edit: just to be clear, I know they have considered other options, but I meant that they seem to only care about pushing forward with Targaryen focused stuff
I wonder if they want to go with "safe" choices before branching out....but the flip side of that is the endanger themselves of people getting comfortable ONLY with Targ stuff and dropping out when they finally do try something different. I'm still bummed the Sea Snake show is going animated. Really wanted to see Yi Ti/Leng, Asshai, and the Thousand Isles
While live action would obviously be amazing, I personally wouldn’t mind if they leaned heavily into animation with more spin-offs. I feel like most fantasy series would be better off adapted into animation.
This popped up on my feed and I thought for a second it was saying she was going to be in the Jon Snow spinoff
Just with my very little knowledge about Aegon’s Conquest and the books I was really ok getting a cold open or flashback ep of it in HOTD. I think it would be cool and it would make sense given HOTD is about the Targs. Do we need a full series? I’ll take my question off the air
I mean depending on how far into his rule they go, I assume it’ll only be like a 2-3 season show tops. You could theoretically do it in one season but it would be super rushed
We went to see whatever episodes it was they had on the big screen (Hardhome? I feel like it was the last 3 of season 5) and that was pretty awesome. It certainly would have looked fucking awesome on the big screen, but it was already condensed and sped up as hell, feel like doing it as movies woulda resulted it being even more so.
Idr the exact episodes either but that was a great time! The posters they gave out were really awesome too
An HBO Original: Game of Thones Presents: A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight corporate art used to oversimplify existing properties to avoid alienating a wide audience. now it's over-complicating them in order to maintain recognition of convoluted strains of brand identity
I wanted this to happen/work so bad but I really didn't know what they could do with it other than "show the day to day life of living in the north" or whatever lol
Oh wow, he really aged in the last few years after his run on GOt ended it looks like. RIP Ser Kevan Lannister
