She’s on ‘The Bells’ so I am reluctantly watching. Have not went back to this season at all for any reason before this.

This is the first time I’ve seen these since they aired and I definitely don’t hate them as much as most people did but god damn, they dropped the ball so hard in some (most) aspects
theure really not that bad in general, it’s a ton of action and great Effects. But it always comes back to “compared to the story telling that came beforehand”…they went from high golden age of TV drama to marvel pop corn action flick. The latter isn’t bad! It’s just not as good as what came before
Dany quite literally looking like a dragon in the last episode is one of the best shots in the entire series.

Randomly watched an episode of season 2 a few weeks ago. Just finished season 4. Why must I be this way?! First time rewatching these episodes though since they first aired. Still some good stuff on here. Really gonna be weird if winds comes out because the show and books are merged in to one story in my mind. So many storylines I’ve forgotten or will misremember.
i'm on my first ever rewatch and i just finished season 6. battle of the bastards and winds of winter was some of the best television ever created. truly absurd how high the highs were for this show.
