Yeah, including the real storyline there would have necessitated they go 10 full seasons probably…so doing what they did to it probably was the warning of “oh these guys just want to get done as fast as possible, not do the very best story they can.”

doran and areo did get done dirty.

 

My wife has been watching this and I’m just kinda doing my own thing while she watches and catching bits and pieces (she just got to S8 lol and has mostly liked it)

The “dracarys” in 7x04 still gave my dumb ass goosebumps. I didn’t even need to see it.

 

Yeah I loved that part

 

There are some truly breathtaking and wtf moments in this show that still blow my mind

Really curious how House of the Dragon turns out. Cautiously optimistic.

 

I’ve been frustrated by the lack of news on it lately. I was hoping we’d be getting some pics and videos soon beyond what we got last summer/early fall, but nothing

 

Though I just googled and it reminded me that Young Ned is playing Young Elrond in the Rings of Power lol

 

She’s on ‘The Bells’ so I am reluctantly watching.

Have not went back to this season at all for any reason before this.

Actually now that I say that, I think someone on the internet pointed out that the whores that Bronn was with at the start of season 8 were talking about some cute singing red headed Lannister solider that got burned up pretty bad haha

This is the first time I’ve seen these since they aired and I definitely don’t hate them as much as most people did


but god damn, they dropped the ball so hard in some (most) aspects

 

theure really not that bad in general, it’s a ton of action and great Effects. But it always comes back to “compared to the story telling that came beforehand”…they went from high golden age of TV drama to marvel pop corn action flick. The latter isn’t bad! It’s just not as good as what came before

 

Dany quite literally looking like a dragon in the last episode is one of the best shots in the entire series.
