I read the entire SW Yuuzhan Vong series, only for it to be wiped out. That was fun. Gave up on reading Star Wars after that.
As far as RTS games go Galactic Battlegrounds was the absolute best. I sunk hundreds of hours into that game.
I wanted to love it. I bought it almost immediately, but the flying characteristics were so out of whack with how flying actually works that I resented it immensely.
Yeah true, the flying controls in the game with talking animals racing around the jungle while operating vehicles were too unrealistic
This conversation is relevant to the thread again now that there’s a post saying fantasy worlds don’t need to follow any internal logic. Lol.
I had Dark Forces for PS1, that was a fun game. I was big into Jedi Power Battles, Star Wars Starfighter, and of course Battlefront
Power Battles was great. Rogue Squadron. So was the Episode III game even though the movement felt like Spiderman for PS2.
KOTOR 1 & 2, original Battlefront 2, Rogue Squadron 2, Jedi Outcast, Shadows of the Empire, and Episode 1 Racer are the best Star Wars games.
This was devastating for my fandom or whatever. That whole series was great. The Zahn trilogy and duology (is that a word), Shadows of the Empire, wiped out. Oh well
No love for Force Unleashed? So sweet. That opening in the first game gave my chills the first time I played it.
Hell yeah. Siege mode was great. I played Outcast strictly sabers only, but switched to guns in Academy. It was basically Quake 3 with force powers. I loved it.
