lol yeah those chapters draaaaaagggged omg. One plotline I am very happy the showrunners sped up was Dany getting found by the Dothraki. Has that even happened in the books yet actually? Or was that the last Dany chapter, her spotting Dothraki riders on the horizon?
Those diarrhea chapters made me question if I’d wasted the hours of my life I’d spent reading those books to that point
Everyone talk more about Davos or Shireen or Gilly or something else amazing in the books because “diarrhea chapters” is terrifying me.
A good poop story is when Belwas decapitates a man and then defecates and wipes himself clean with the dead man's cloak.
I knew I remembered something being extremely boring in Dance haha, but I said Mereen earlier instead of just strictly Dany's chapters. Mereen itself was pretty interesting with Barristan and Brown Ben and Quentin and Tyrion and etc. Davos' chapters in Dance are great too. Trying to get followers for Stannis, revealing the possible Grand Northern Conspiracy against the Boltons, etc.
I thought the diarrhea comment was hyperbolic and funny. Do they literally describe that she has diarrhea? Hahaha
The whole Game of Thrones story / phenomena is in such a weird place right now where the original author won't (or can't, if you're being generous) finish the story in the books, and the people in charge of the show have just decided to get it over with as quickly as possible and are rushing through it at a breakneck pace.
I finally figured out why I have a hard time calling GRRM a great: he put the far more interesting characters on the far less interesting continent. Essos is what’s up, but all the views we have of it barring Arya in Braavos suck. Thinking specifically of Tyrion sailing through that abandoned city on the river with the straw man not in the show at all.
An argument is now breaking out over how many pages about diarrhea there are in the books, so no one gets to be mad at my critiques of the show ever again.
the internet is buzzing that baby dragons from Drogon are going to appear in the next episode. and by the internet, I mean my work slack with links to non reputable sources.
I saw that on FB from a friend who’s classic poster of obviously fake clickbait stuff. That was all I needed to know about their validity. How do dragons breed in the books?
